I just got back from Hawaii today and it was super amazing (despite the fact that I’m definitely NOT a summer girl especially since my wardrobe choices seem to decline since it gets SO HOT). Here’s what I wore one my way to go swimming in Waikiki.

And yes the second photo is the same dress Annabel had in one of her Chictopia posts. When I went to work, I lucked out when I found out that the dress was on sale for $15. It was a bit difficult to wear around Waikiki when it was pouring rain though.

Two years ago, my boyfriend and I were looking for bikes and when we came across this tandem one, we just HAD to get it! I love riding around the neighborhood with my boyfriend!

With that aside, I’m wearing my mom’s vintage swimsuit. She literally was going to throw it away till I intercepted it. It really is an amazing swimsuit. Very 70’s I think.

OH! and it is getting super hot here in Southern California. I find myself lounging around in my maxi dress and drinking endless bottles of water to keep hydrated. I just want autumn to come here already. Saw an amazing black&gold oversized sweater at work yesterday. It was a return so I'm going to hit up another H&M to see if they have it in stock.

Today marks the opening weekend of the OC Fair! Unfortunately, I work all weekend(I kid, not that unfortunate since fortunately I'll have money to finance my shopping sprees and traveling AND I LOVE my job hahaha!) so I couldn't get to stop by. I'm very excited though. Can you imagine: roasted corn, deep fried oreos (and pretty much everything), funnel cakes, turkey legs, apple fries, onion blossoms, footlong hot dogs, lemonade, photo booths, rides, games, oh the joys of summer!

I apologize for the lack of outfit posts (always happens). I tried to do one today but I went to the grocery store with my mother (who can not operate a camera for anything) and then went to sleep. Oh! and I did all this after going to the cemetery to visit my Dad and my Grandpa and shopped at H&M for my cousin's birthday presents. I was pretty much pooped. But don't fear, I've bought a lot of clothes last week at work (thank you sales!) so I should start wearing them soon!

I couldn't ask for a better bf when I first met him. My bf and I have been together for 6 and a half years and it has been definitely the best 6 and half years (and counting) of my life. I am thankful I have someone who not only respects me but other women as well. That's why a lot of women confide in my bf when they are going through a tough time (and I'm definitely not selfish when it comes to that). He is also financially independent and has been since middle school haha. The stuff for his car (audio, subwoofer, lights- you name it), his traveling, his food, his bills, he pays pretty much everything on his own. I can't quite remember a time when his parents EVER took him shopping. With that, I learned from him the importance of budgeting my finances (although I'm unsuccessful 75% of them time- but I'm getting there). I know I've found something special in him and I'm never in doubt with our relationship. A lot of times, couples say that they are uncertain with what the future holds (in regards to marriage, spending the rest of your life with your significant other blah blah). I think otherwise. Call me naive and/or ignorant for saying such a statement, but I know how much he cares about me and I know how much I care about him.

This is pretty much stemming from the fact that my bf is overseas with his family and the past couple days have been rough. Throw "pathetic" at me cause there are couples who have been apart for a lot longer than we have, but hey I'm crazy in love with him and I miss him dearly (actually A LOT). AHHH counting down the days till I see him so we can run around Disneyland and laugh and giggle while riding Space Mountain.

When I saw this dress on Annabel's Chictopia, I knew I had to get it. I was never fond of maxi dresses so I never paid attention to it at work. Maybe it's the mainstream of jersey maxi dresses (made famous by F21 and Target- not that it's a bad thing of course) with the smocked top that I saw all over campus and everyday at work when I used to work at F21. It kind of made me cringe to see them you know. Well, I guess I really loved this particular maxi dress only because of the silky fabric, beautiful colors, and the fact that it's a halter (and not a tube dress). So, I lucked out today at work. This baby is only $15 (as oppose to $49.90). I couldn't pass it up.

I'd choose fall/winter fashion over spring/summer fashion any day. To an extent of course. Hahaha. I know, I don't make sense. Blame it on the lack of sleep and long hours at work. But I'm not complaining!
