confessions

I've been meaning to post this on here but settled for tumblr because it just wouldn't post here. So here it is!

I'm not even going to front. I usually don't have "crushes" because let's face it, I got it good with my boy. But I have developed a huge middle school crush on one of the contestants on the show Sing Off. He sang Committed's lead vocals for their version of One Republic's Apologize:

The boy who won a part of my heart (besides my main boyy who has a majority of my heart because I have mad love for him) : Robbie Pressley.

hehehehe. He's just waaaaaaay tooooo adorable AND he has dimples. I'm a sucker for dimples!

All that cuteness asides, I hope Committed wins the competition. They are amazing!

ANNNND I know this post is completely irrelevant to my blog, but I had to share. Now it's back to studying for my Marketing final and finishing up my project!

ps
Robbie! If you are reading this (which I highly doubt haha), I'd take a shot for you any day ;) (you too Charles hahaha)!

Southern California, for awhile now, has been colder than usual. Perfect opportunity for this faux fur stole and stockings!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

zara vest, UO leggings, calvin klein shoes, h&m hat, blouse, and rings

Finally it's getting cold again. Not as cold as I like but I'm loving the weather. I find that my wardrobe is more appropriate for colder climates (funny because I live in Southern California). That being said, I'm clueless as far as what to wear during spring and summer. Anyway, it's cooling down this week so I'm going to have to find an opportunity to photograph my outfits in between exams, papers, and excel assignments because I love this weather!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

fall break
zara blouse, marc by marc jacobs purse, h&m hat, skirt, belt, and shoes

One of the few days I have to take an outfit post. It's kind of hard having a boyfriend who works full time and goes to school full time as well. I also go to school full time and I'm in school from 9 in the morning up until 10 at night.

Hope all is well!

I know I've been MIA for awhile now. School has been kicking my butt. Since school began, I've already had 4 quizzes, 3 midterms, 2 papers, and an outline due. But since my last outfit post, I've been updating my wardrobe so as soon as I can get a hold of my boyfriend to be my photographer (he works AND goes to school full time), I leave you with food porn. ENJOY!

apples & cinnamon

What I wore to go shopping at Target and Ikea after having grabbing a bite at Panera Bread with the boyfriend. Went to Ikea to buy tea light candles for my mother. Since fall is near, for some reason I think of apples and cinnamon (maybe the color palette?) so I decided on buying apples and cinnamon scented tea light candles. Afterwards, we shopped at Target for pillows, snacks, and pajamas for my baby dog Curry.

Walked to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Musee Mecanique. Cable Car rides. Shopping in Union Square. Cheesecake Factory on the 8th floor of Macy's. Berkeley. The Cheese Board Pizza Collective. Picnic on the center divider of Shattuck Ave. Home.

his & hers

hers: zara pants, h&m shoes

Slowly getting into the outfit post scene. My apologies, summer wardrobe isn't my thing. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I don't have school but I hate the fact that I'm stuck wearing a summer dress or shorts instead of a layering ensemble. I try to sneak in some black (okay I always sneak in some black). Anyway, I've been trying to limit my spendings. I bought these boots at H&M last week with my gift card and employee discount so I ended up paying about $6. Not bad right?

his: levis jeans, nike air max

My boyfriend really only wears Nikes. I bought this pair for him on his 20th birthday. He was eyeing it for awhile. I tried to surprised him, but I failed. I need to buy him a new pair. Pretty much the 10 pairs he owns are all beat up haha.

august

oc fair, july 2009

School is just around the corner (3 weeks) and now that I formally resigned from H&M on a good note, I plan on redirecting my focus on projects that I have yet to complete, focus on school, and have fun before the first day of class. Trying to get all of these done before I have to focus on school and the countless work load for geography, history, statistics, information systems, and marketing:
  • Margarita Monday with coworkers
  • OC Fair
  • Barneys Warehouse Sale (still haven't gone)
  • A "whatever I want" shopping spree at H&M with my employee discount before it deactivates.
  • Kayak with the boyfriend
  • Switching out the purple & gold for blue. Go Dodgers!
  • Comedy Fiesta?
  • Hollywood sign
  • Venice Beach
  • Santa Monica
  • San Diego Zoo
  • Walt Disney Concert Hall
  • LA skyline
I'm really really going to miss working at H&M (well mainly my coworkers). Okay, I'll admit it. I will miss the early morning 30 mile commute to work in TRAFFIC and grabbing coffee at Starbucks since I had to wake up extra early to drive to work, running around the store lost as to where everything goes after not working for a week, feeling like its Christmas when we get Trend garments in shipment, pizza for lunch, and Corner Bakery on paydays . Oh man, I'm getting a bit emotional. It still hasn't hit me that I put in my two weeks.

LV

las vegas, july 2010

Spent a couple days in Vegas to celebrate the boyfriend's 23rd birthday. Couldn't ask for an amazing trip with good company. Sweating in 100 degree weather. Checking in early at the Luxor. Mango Fat Tuesdays (extra shot) in one hand and a jalapeno pretzel on the other (TWICE!). Knocking out after two hours. $30 cab rides to Chinatown and back for cheap $4.95 food. Checking out early in the morning. Eggs Benedict from Hash House A Go Go. Mimosas. Fashion Show Mall. Shopping at Zara and ending up with a pair of camel colored trousers and black leggings. Finding a Vegas Hello Kitty at the ABC Store (reminds me of good times in Hawaii!). Checking in at Excalibur. Pool side. Sugar Factory. Driving down the strip at dusk. THE BUFFET AT THE WYNN! Wynn Signature Punch with Rum. Food Babies. Loud nights with eight people in one room. Checking out. Mr. Cashman slot machine. Fashion Show Mall for the ABC Store and Food Court. HOME.

To be honest, I'm not much of a Vegas girl and the weather was TERRIBLE. Flips flops over heels for the win. I'm not much of an alcoholic (like most people I know haha). Plus, it's too expensive for drinks and I'd rather use it towards yummy food. Can't wait till San Francisco next month. Weather will be oh so wonderful, food will be oh so tasty, and new clothes in my closet will be oh so beautiful.

ps
If you can't already tell, my interest has slowly shifted from fashion and clothes to food and traveling. Sure, I have my share of shopping but not as much as it used to be. After many trips to Buffalo Exchange and realizing how much money I've wasted, I just can't keep wasting money on disposable clothing. I already have enough of that to last me for awhile. It just breaks my heart to know that the one thing that I've loved the most for so long isn't my number one priority right now. But until I can afford Marc by Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Chloe, and all the beautiful clothes both vintage and designer, traveling and food will do for now.

wedding?

My boyfriend and I have been together for seven and a half years and the subject of marriage, weddings, and kids are always brought up (not just between ourselves, but others continuously asking when are we going to tie the knot). To be honest, it's more of us not ready to give up everything that we have going on now just yet. We're young and we won't be young for long so kids are definitely out of picture for the next ten years or so. Marriage, on the other hand is a different story. I love planning our future wedding. We plan on getting married in New York, engagement photos in Central Park, pretty ethereal dresses, beautiful centerpieces with New York's skyline in the background, and a honeymoon in Bora Bora. We're (or at least I am haha) aiming within four maybe five years. It will be definitely be an exciting chapter in our lives.

vegas part three

las vegas, march 2010

I will be spending a couple days this coming week in Vegas to celebrate my boyfriend's 23rd birthday! I'm so ready for some Fat Tuesdays, The Buffet at the Wynn, pretzels, Hash House, and so much more. Seriously, three Vegas trips in one year is way out of my character. I usually go to San Francisco but $22 for a night at the Luxor sounded tempting compared to $200/night in SF. My traveling as of right now (depending on my financial situation since of course I'm paying for most of my trips out of my own pocket while my mother pays for our family trip) are listed below:

July: Vegas
August: San Francisco and Napa Valley/Sonoma
December/January: New York City/Washington DC, Georgia, and Maui/Oahu
May/June: Japan or Europe

So excited. Now, must continue saving money to finance the trips!

summer 2010

This summer has worn me out and we're only halfway through! Since school ended, I've:

1. attended three graduations and three graduation parties in one day
2. hopped on a plane to Hawaii
3. bowling mondays!
4. getty museum with the only little gal I would ever babysit
5. miniature golfing
6. laker parade
7. kayaking with friends
8. dropped off my mother to the airport
9. happy hours at Yardhouse
10. lunch at Furaibo
11. endless shopping with my mother
12. three different 4th of July parties
13. billiards with the boyfriend
14. work work work to pay for it all!

I feel like life needs to slow down just a tad bit. Must recharge and refuel and start all over again.

wine and dine

After a night of laughter while watching Hell's Kitchen as the Blue Team "enjoyed" themselves at a winery, my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip up north to Napa Valley and San Francisco for his birthday next month with a couple of friends. I'm definitely excited because 1) I LOVE San Francisco (well third after New York and Hawaii) and 2) I've tried wine tasting once, but it was in Mexico last year and I'm excited to go especially in a place well known for their vast variety of wineries. Without a doubt, I'm excited to go up north next month after a million failed attempts this year. Something was always coming up and forcing me to postpone the trip. I'm definitely making it imperative that we do this trip! No excuses.

ps
Any recommendations for wineries in Napa? I'm definitely considering all recommendations so please do share!

summer sun

h&m trend dress and shoes

Why hello bloggers! It sure has been a LONG time since I’ve last posted an outfit but here it is! I’m wearing one of my all time favorite dress in the whole wide world. I got this dress at H&M about 3 years ago and till this day, I’ve never loved a dress as much as this one. Even the red (or white) rosette dress from the Garden Collection doesn’t compare.

Okay, from here on out, I will do my best to post more outfit posts!
