crave

rainbow drive-in, honolulu, july 2009

I couldn't help but blog about this amazing oh so delicious plate from a local food joint in Honolulu. You may have noticed this photo from my Hawaii post. But anyway, meet Corned Beef Hash from Rainbow Drive-In. With a generous amount of gravy, egg, and a side of macaroni (one of the island's local staples) I could eat it for days and not get tired of it. OH! and toss in some chili and I will have one satisfied tummy. I'm definitely drooling at the moment. Seriously, after having it everyday in Hawaii last month for a week, it got a bit depressing when I arrived home and realized that NOTHING will satisfy my corn beef hash cravings. And flying to Hawaii just for the plate is not an option. Oh what to do what to do.

goodbye summer!

hawaii, july 2009

Today marks my last day for summer (since I have work tomorrow). I'm looking forward to this semester (or maybe not ... haha). But anyway, I had an amazing time this summer and it definitely flew by quick! Sure, I had my ups and downs but definitely ups. From San Francisco (twice!) to Hawaii, I couldn't ask for anything more (well except wishing for my Dad to still be here but that's a whole completely different story). And since school is starting Monday, that means fall is almost here and I'm definitely not going to FAIL wardrobe-wise. Trust me, this 100 Degree weather at the moment is making me frustrated. GRRR

Hope you all had an amazing summer and good luck this semester!

ice cold

serendipity 3, new york city, january 2009

Today's temperature: 97 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT!
San Francisco's Temperature: 73 degrees Fahrenheit!

... how I long to be in San Francisco RIGHT NOW. Maybe I'll stop by a Starbucks to indulge myself in a ice cold Passion Tea Lemonade. I think I should.

Tomorrow I will be answering comments and visiting blogs!

back to the bay

urban outfitters leather pants, h&m sweater, shoes, and scarf

This weekend I drove up to San Francisco for a couple of days. I was anticipating the cold weather and I checked the forecast and I knew that the temperature was a lot cooler than in the Los Angeles area BUT I didn’t pack accordingly. Why? I have no clue (I LOVE COLD WEATHER! How on earth did I miss that). Anyway, it was FREEEEZING in the bay area and I had to go to H&M to buy a sweater and a scarf to keep warm.

Anyway, this is an outcome of me not packing accordingly for a trip. Never again.

dance party

h&m jacket, vintage top, zara pants, h&m shoes

I love how impractical but practical this sequined jacket is. I mean come on, SEQUINS??? But it’s in black so it can pretty much go with anything. Can’t wait to wear it more when the temps go down.

And in regards to my leather top. It’s a skirt I hiked up to use as a top. Way to use your money’s worth!

taking it all in

backyard 2009

It's already been halfway through the month and I've only posted TWO posts. Forgive me, I've been sooo busy with work (trying to pick up hours due to the fact that I'm going to EUROPE next year!). Anyway, summer is almost over. Not excited for school but I'm definitely not excited at the moment (weather-wise). So it's a bit bittersweet. Plus the other things going on in life: picking up hours at work, trying to spend time with the bf, saving money for EUROPE!!!, saving money for the bf's christmas present, jury duty next week, ticket, my Dad's one year death anniversary, to name a few is getting a bit overwhelming. Okay I lied, SUPER overwhelming. Just waiting for the next few months to be over and so I can just relax!

And in regards to Europe, I'm paying for it entirely on my own. I am PROUD of myself!

sometimes love

h&m trend jacket, topshop dress, urban outfitters boots

My awesome bf bought me this Topshop dress while he was in Singapore last month. Unfortunately, California isn’t blessed with Topshop (unlike New York…jealous). Yea yea I know, there’s an online shop. But still, it’s not the same.

h&m divided jacket, nasty gal vintage dress, UO shoes, h&m clutch

I’m so excited for autumn this year. Upon looking at the H&M, Topshop, and Zara Autumn/Winter collection in various blogs, I can only imagine how my bank statement is going to look like. Hahaha I kid, I kid. But really though, autumn is going to be amazing this year (wardrobe-wise of course)!
